Croatian Radiotelevision Bans Workers From Expressing Opinion On Facebook

 

Journalists and workers at Croatian public broadcaster Hrvatska Radiotelevizija (HRT) only a have a few more days where they will freely be able to express their own opinion – on social media at least.

From Thursday all HRT employees, including the top brass, will have to abide by a new ethical code of conduct. Amongst various points in the new code which will be forbidden is; “expressing an opinion or point of view on a social network or blog that would harm the reputation or the interests of HRT”, writes daily newspaper Novi List.
