Croatian Mass In Madrid For The First Time

For the first time Christmas Mass in the Croatian language has been held in the Spanish capital Madrid, reports daily newspaper Vecernji list.

The Christmas Mass was held at the 267-year-old St. Michael’s Basilica in Madrid, and organised by the Croatian Ambassador to Spain Neven Pelicaric, who claims that last night’s mass was the first ever in the Croatian language in Madrid.

Due to prior commitments, the Mass was unable to be attended by Madrid’s most famous Croat, Luka Modric, who plays for the Real Madrid Football Club.
