Osijek, 26 July 2025 (Hina) – Croatia’s Defence Minister Ivan Anušić has announced that FPV drones developed and produced by Osijek-based tech company Orqa will be publicly showcased for the first time during the Croatian Armed Forces’ ceremonial military parade in Zagreb on 31 July.
During his visit to Orqa’s headquarters in Osijek on Friday, Minister Anušić praised the innovation and expertise of Croatian engineers involved in creating the FPV drone system.
“We have a unique Croatian product, an FPV drone that has been fully developed and manufactured here in Croatia. The public will have the opportunity to see these drones for the first time during the military parade,” he said.

Ivan Jelušić, co-founder of Orqa, presented the company’s future development plans to the minister. These include expanding production capabilities to meet growing demand. The company has already manufactured around 150,000 drone systems over the past year, with plans in place to triple production capacity.
“Our technological solutions are in demand across western markets, which is a significant step not only for Orqa but for the wider Croatian robotics industry. Through continued cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, we can elevate Croatia’s defence and tech sectors to a strong international level,” said Jelušić.

Orqa’s FPV drones will be displayed as part of the new equipment segment of the Croatian Armed Forces’ ceremonial military parade. The event will take place at 5 p.m. on 31 July in Ulica grada Vukovara in Zagreb.
The appearance of these homegrown drones marks an important milestone in Croatia’s efforts to strengthen its domestic defence and technology industries.
