Croatian Ivana Babić Wins World Junior Taekwondo Title

Babić, from Split in Croatia, beat representatives from Switzerland, Lesotho, Peru, Germany, Turkey and South Korea on her way to claiming the title. It is the second major achievement of her career after she won the European title in 2011. At the same championships which have just been held in Taipei, the Croatian Junior Girls team took out the silver medal overall. Another Croatian, Matea Jelić, won the MVP award for the tournament, whilst coach Lidija Katalinić Špoljarić won coach of the tournament.
