Croatian Fans Jailed In Paris

Three members of Dinamo Zagreb football club’s notorious firm Bad Blue Boys, have been sentenced to four months jail in a French court after clashing with Paris Saint-Germain fans ahead of last Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match in Paris.

The French court also fined three PSG fans between 800 and 1000 euros. 24 people were arrested when fighting broke out near the Place de la Bastille in the French capital just before midnight on Monday. One Croatian was badly injured in the fight and was taken to hospital.

In passing sentence, the judge said that the Croatian fans had only “come to the game to fight”. The three jailed Bad Blue Boys have also been banned from entering Paris for 5 years.
