Croatian Borna Sosa signs for Crystal Palace

Croatian international Borna Sosa has completed a move to Crystal Palace, joining the Premier League club from Dutch side Ajax for a reported fee of £3 million.
The 27-year-old from Zagreb has agreed a three-year contract with the South London club.
The left-sided defender, who has made 26 appearances for the Croatian national team, will link up with his new teammates next week as the squad begins preparations for the upcoming season.
Sosa started his career at Dinamo Zagreb, before impressing at VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. After then joined Ajax, which included a brief loan spell at Torino,
Palace chairman Steve Parish expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing, especially as the club gears up for European football next season. “We believe Borna will be a fantastic fit for Crystal Palace. His credentials speak for themselves, and his arrival adds additional quality, experience and depth to our squad,” Parish said.
Sosa also shared his excitement about the move.
“I’m very excited to join Crystal Palace. I’ve heard so many good things about the club. I cannot wait to meet the players, the staff, and all of the fans,” he said.
