Croatian athletes excel at European Deaf Athletics Championships

Croatian Athletes Shine with Two Gold and One Bronze at European Deaf Athletics Championships

The European Deaf Athletics Championships took place in Szczecin, Poland, from August 21st to 27th. At the recently concluded championships, Croatia’s athletes achieved remarkable results and returned to Croatia with three medals, including two gold and one bronze.

Laura Štefanac secured the gold medal in the javelin throw discipline, a testament to her exceptional technical skill and dedicated training.

Viktor Barešić earned gold in shot put in the U20 category and a bronze medal in the discus throw discipline.

Mia Nekić also delivered noteworthy performances, finishing fourth in the discus throw and fifth in shot put. Jakob Ivan Košak distinguished himself with a 10th place finish in the 100-meter sprint and an 11th place finish in the 200 meters.
