Los Angeles based Croatian-American filmmaker and actor Johnny Kera will executive produce a horror-comedy feature film entitled Disco Death.
The film is written, produced and directed by Angelique Gross, and it is produced by Laura Willoughby.
The story is about a lonely teenage girl, fueled by online conspiracy theories, tracks down her favorite popstar to a remote cabin in the woods, only to discover he is not alone-his seemingly fake girlfriend is by his side.
As the night unfolds, her obsessive fantasies clash with the stark reality, leading to a twisted game of manipulation and psychological terror that challenges the boundaries of fandom culture and obsession.
Filming takes place in the city of Los Angeles and the production team has attached actress Stephanie Hoston (Perry Mason and FBI International) and actress Olivia Fogel (Forevermore Incarnation Chapters and A Gated Pool).
