Croatia v Spain match in Zagreb sold out

Maksimir stadium is sold out (HNS)

Maksimir stadium in Zagreb has been sold out two days ahead of the Nations League clash between Croatia and Spain, the Croatian Football Federation announced.

There have been huge queues at the ticket booths this week as fans have been rushing to get a ticket to see the World Cup silver medalists in action. The match is the first competitive match Croatia has played at home in front of fans since finishing runner-up in Russia.

Croatia and Spain will meet Spain on Thursday, 15 November at Maksimir stadium with kickoff at 20:45.

Three points for Zlatko Dalić’s side would mean the group would be decided on Sunday in London when Croatia plays England in the final match.

Currently, Spain leads the Group with 6 points, followed by England with 4 points and Croatia with 1.
