Croatia To Turn White This Weekend

Winter will show its teeth for the first time as Croatia is about to be covered in snow this weekend. A bitter -10 degrees in the hills are expected as temperatures around the country on Saturday are not expected to pass 0°.

Even Croatia’s Adriatic coast will not escape the snow this weekend. Istria, the northern Adriatic and parts of central and inland Dalmatia can expect snowfall of around 30cm, with a half a metre expected in the hills. Minus 14 degrees is expected on Sunday and Monday.
