Croatia Through to U20 World Water Polo Championship Semi-Final

After the senior Croatian men’s water polo team picked up Bronze recently at the World Championships in Spain, their younger countrymen have the opportunity to go one better at the U-20 FINA World Championships In Hungary.

The junior Croatian men’s water polo team has beaten Brazil 10:5 to make it through to the semi-final, where they will meet the hosts Hungary. “Against Brazil we were the favourites, but we did not underestimate them. We done what we had to do now we eagerly await the chance to make the final. The atmosphere in the side is excellent, we all get on and we all really want to win a medal,” said Croatia’s Luka Bukic.
