Croatia have ended 2025 among the world’s elite, finishing the year in 10th place in the latest FIFA World Rankings released today.
The Vatreni collected a total of 1,716.88 points, securing their position inside the top 10.
At the top of the rankings, Spain retained first place. They are followed by Argentina in second, France in third and England in fourth.
Brazil occupy fifth spot, with Portugal close behind in sixth. The remainder of the top 10 is completed by the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Croatia in tenth.
Finishing the year inside the top 10 is another positive sign for Zlatko Dalić’s side as preparations intensify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Croatia will compete in the group stage alongside England, Ghana and Panama, setting up a challenging but exciting tournament ahead.
As part of their World Cup build-up, Croatia will face Brazil on 31 March in Orlando, Florida. They are also expected to play Colombia in a friendly.
