Croatia Among TOP 30 Most Heavily Christian Countries in the World

Croatia is among the top 30 most heavily Christian countries in the world, according to a list published by CBS News.

With over 2.4 billion followers, around one-third of the global population, Christianity is the most widely practiced religion in the world.

The list, which ranked the rate of Christians per capita, unsurprisingly was topped by the Vatican with 100% Christians. Other nations in the top 5 included East Timor (97%), Romania and Greece.

Croatia ranked at No.27 on the list with 90.1% of the population Christians. 86% of the population is Catholic.

The United States had the largest Christian population in the world but did not make the list when it came to the rate of Christians per capita.
