Croat Priest Sentenced To 4.5 Years For Murder

A Croatian priest from Dubrovnik in Croatia has been sentenced to four and a half years jail for murder on Tuesday by a Dubrovnik court.

Father Ivica Sinanovic was found guilty of murdering local politician Marko Kraljevic (49) on the night of 22 May 2012. Kraljevic’s body was found in the hallway to the entrance of the Dubrovnik Parish House. It was reported that Kraljevic, who was under the influence of alcohol, had entered the house and had a physical confrontation with the priest which resulted in his death.

It was reported than Sinanovic (44) repeatedly punched and kicked Kraljevic whilst he lay on the ground.
