Croat Awarded in London for New York Times Piece

Horvat picked up the award in the ‘Online Category’ for his text ‘Godot Arrives In Sarajevo’, which was published in the New York Times. The Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Award recognizes the positive role played by media in reporting on issues of cultural diversity and providing balanced and informed coverage.

Horvat, who as a columnist has appeared in several leading newspapers regularly such as The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Il Manifesto, El Pais and The New York Times, was awarded from over 350 journalists from more than 40 countries by an international jury made up of leading media experts.
