Croatia’s most famous family Christmas lights display and Christmas theme park is set to open once again to the public.

For the last 17 Christmases in a row, the Salaj family home in Grabovnica near the central Croatian town of Čazma has been a major attraction for locals and tourists.

This holiday season more than 4 million lights will turn Salajland theme park into a winter wonderland. Salajland will open to the public on 30 November.

“This year you can expect over 4 million Christmas lights and we have prepared a variety of surprises that we will let you know on time. One of the most important news that we can immediately discover is restoring the restaurant and expanding the gastronomic offer. Along with this year’s novelties, traditionally you can expect everyday fireworks, animators for the youngest and great Advent Village, where you can buy various home-made food products, as well as various handicrafts and souvenirs,” Salajland said.
