Bust Up Over Burek

Two men in the eastern Croatian city of Pozega have been arrested after a fight erupted over a Burek, the popular meat filled pastry, reports portal 24sata.

The men were walking past a bakery at 4:20am, together with 4 other men, when they noticed a worker and burek inside through the window of the bakery. When they were told by the staff member that the bakery did not open until 5:00am and he could not sell them the burek, they become aggressive, verbally abusing the man before smashing the bakery door glass.

The 25 and 22-year-old men have been charged with damaging property, threatening violence and disorderly behaviour.
