Best Films from Around the Globe at 7th MAXtv Filmomania in Zagreb

ZagrebThe 7th edition of MAXtv Filmomania – showcasing the best of film – will be held in Centre Kaptol, Zagreb from 19-29 September. Filmomania offers film lovers a unique chance to see recent works from acclaimed world directors and prestigious world film festivals winners on the big screen.

Throughout the 11 days, visitors will be able to see 21 attractive titles, including hits such as Nebraska by Alexander Payne, whose lead actor Bruce Dern won the Best Actor Award at this year’s Cannes Film festival, Mistaken for Stranger by Bruce Berninger, a documentary film following popular music band The National, as well as Wong Kar Wai’s ,  a Hong Kong–Chinese martial arts drama film based on the life story of the Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man that premiered this year in Berlin. Two Croatian films – The Bug by Filip Sovagovic and The Farewell by Dan Oki as well as one Slovene-Croatian co production – Adria Blues, will be also be screened at this year’s Filmomania.
