Ana Zaninovic Wins Gold At World Event In Belgium

Croatian taekwondo representative Ana Zaninovic has won gold at a world event in Belgium. It was Zaninovic’s first individual match since the Olympic Games in London last summer and the 25-year-old Split-born champion had no trouble disposing of the competition.

It was not only Zaninovic who was victorious. The Croatian team collected 3 golds at the World Team event which featured over 1,330 competitors from 31 countries. Petra Matijasevic won her first world medal in the U67 category with four wins.
