American Music Abroad announces free concerts in Pula and Rovinj

28 June 2019 – Free concerts in Pula and Rovinj in July have been announced by American Music Abroad (AMA). The group of high school-age musicians will visit Croatia as part of a 17-day musical tour of Europe organized by AMA.

AMA tours bring together all-star high school musicians to form orchestras, symphonic bands, jazz bands and concert choirs making for an incredible musical experience. Regional destination management company, Adriatic DMC is providing logistics for the groups during their stay in Croatia.

Each 90-minute concert will feature a varied repertoire including pieces from the masters, music from Broadway, American folk music and works from contemporary American composers performed by a 25-piece orchestra, symphonic band and a choir of 30 voices. 

The free concerts will be held in Pula in front of Portarata (Zlatna Vrata) at 21:00 on 05.07.2019 and on Rovinj’s Trg Marsala Tita on 06.07.2019 at 21:00.
