Canada’s Air Transat will operate 5 one-way flights between Zagreb and Montreal during the 2018 season.

Tickets have gone on sale for the limited one-way Zagreb – Montreal flights on the airline’s website. The flights are scheduled in May, June, and October.

The dates of the flights, which Air Transat announced as it promoted its 2018 European summer programme this week, are scheduled for:

Wednesday 30 May 2018
Wednesday 6 June 2018
Wednesday 10 October 2018
Wednesday 17 October 2018
Wednesday 24 October 2018

The flights are set to operate exclusively on sectors from Zagreb as a stop on the airline’s scheduled seasonal flights between Zagreb and Toronto, EX-YU Aviation News writes.

“Our European programme is growing, but it’s not growing with a bunch of new destinations, that’s not what it’s about. It’s about strengthening our position in places where we already have a great program, and about recognising what Transat does really well and what the Canadian market needs,” Nicole Bursey, Air Transat’s Commercial Director for Ontario and Atlantic Canada, said Monday’s launch, adding that demand for flights to Zagreb was up.

“We wanted to make sure Zagreb doesn’t become an air-only destination. It’s a gorgeous country and there’s so much to explore and so much to do.”

Air Transat also announced an upgrade in its fleet for its Zagreb-Toronto service, which resumes on 15 May 2018. Airbus A330-300 aircraft will now be used on the route, replacing the -200 series.

Air Canada Rouge recently announced the launch of a four-weekly seasonal service from Toronto to Zagreb for 2018.
