Advent in Zadar announced: Here’s what you can expect

After a successful tourist season, the end of the year in the Dalmatian city of Zadar will be marked by the traditional Advent organised by the City of Zadar, the Zadar Tourist Board, and Zadar Market.

A rich program has been prepared with music stars and surprises that will characterise the Advent period in Zadar from November 24th of this year to January 6th, 2024.

As every year, the start of the Advent events is scheduled for the Day of the City of Zadar and the feast of St. Krševan on November 24th, to provide the citizens with a special atmosphere on this date.

At the opening on Friday, November 24th, Toni Cetinski will perform on the stage at Petra Zoranić Square, and the next day, Tomislav Bralić and the Klapa Intrade will have their big concert.

In the first weekend of December, Let 3 is scheduled to perform, and by the end of the year, there will be performances by, among others, Silente, Jure Brkljača, Matija Cvek, klapa Rišpet, Opća opasnost, Forum, and Ivana Kindl, Madre Badessa, Vatra…

The traditional New Year’s Eve celebration will be organised at multiple locations, where Jole with the group Bolero, Ićo, Kanella, and Rockatansky will joyfully lead Zadar and our guests into the New Year.

More details about numerous accompanying programs will be announced in the upcoming days. It is already notable that Zadar schools, associations, hotels, and institutions will participate in them this year as well, and there will be the traditional City Tour, during which shops and catering establishments in the Peninsula will offer special discounts.

The organisers distance themselves from possible changes in the program due to force majeure. In the event of postponement of certain concerts, if possible due to the performers’ schedules, a new date will be provided during the event.
