Actor Sylvester Stallone arrives in Split

SPLIT, 3 July 2019 – Actor Sylvester Stallone (72) has arrived in Croatia on holiday with his family. 

Stallone arrived at Split Airport on Wednesday via private jet from Venice with his wife of 21 years Jennifer Flavin, and daughters Sistine Rose, Sophia Rose and Scarlet Rose, Slobodna Dalmacija reported on Wednesday. 

Stallone and his family were then taken to Resnik, near Split Airport, where they boarded a speed boat. According to the report, Stallone and his family were taken to the yacht Meira on which they will enjoy their Croatian holiday on. 

Stallone managed to evade photographers at Split Airport via a back exit but Slobodna Dalmacija photographers captured his wife and daughters. 

Stallone was nominated for two Academy Awards for Rocky, for Best Original Screenplay and Best Actor. He became the third man in history to receive these two nominations for the same film, after Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles.  

The actor turns 73 on Saturday and looks like he will celebrate it in Croatia.
