Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers have been confirmed for their first-ever live performance in Zagreb, joining the line-up of INmusic Festival 2026.

Their appearance forms part of the festival’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

Formed in Blackwood, Wales, Manic Street Preachers have been active since the late 1980s and have released 14 studio albums to date.

Over the course of their career, they have headlined major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, T in the Park and V Festival.

The band has received numerous industry awards, including multiple NME and Q Awards, as well as BRIT and Ivor Novello Awards, alongside nominations for the Mercury Prize and MTV Europe Music Awards.

Their debut album Generation Terrorists, released in 1992, established their reputation for combining guitar-driven rock with punk and pop influences, underpinned by politically aware and socially reflective lyrics.

Since then, the band has continued to evolve musically while maintaining a recognisable sound that has attracted an international audience.

Manic Street Preachers’ live sets typically span their entire career, blending early material such as “You Love Us” and “Motorcycle Emptiness” with chart successes including the UK number one single “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next”, “Design for Life” and “You Stole the Sun from My Heart”.

More recent songs, including “International Blue” and “Orwellian” from their 2021 number one album The Ultra Vivid Lament, have also become regular features of their performances.

In early 2025, the band released “Decline and Fall”, a single taken from their 15th studio album Critical Thinking, which followed extensive touring in the UK, the United States and Asia.

Their Zagreb debut adds to an already strong line-up for INmusic Festival #18, which includes Gorillaz, Jack White, Kings of Leon, The Flaming Lips, IDLES and Jehnny Beth. The festival will take place from 22 to 24 June 2026 on the islands of Lake Jarun in Zagreb.

Three-day festival tickets are currently priced at €129 plus transaction fees and are available via the official INmusic webshop. Seven-day camping passes can be purchased separately for €59 plus transaction fees.
