ZAGREB, 9 January 2026 (Hina) – Croatia’s central bank, the Hrvatska narodna banka (HNB), has launched a new interactive map displaying bank branches and ATMs across the country, making it easier for citizens to access cash services, particularly in areas with limited financial infrastructure.

The map provides a clear overview of locations where people can withdraw or deposit cash and has been developed in cooperation with commercial banks, Hrvatska pošta (Croatian Post), and the Financial Agency (FINA).

Available on the HNB’s official website and through the mobile application mHNB, the interactive tool allows users to search by bank or service provider, address, or their current location.

Users can also filter results based on the type of self-service device available.

This includes whether an ATM or machine allows:

• cash withdrawals,
• cash deposits of banknotes, or
• coin deposits.

Each listed location includes an exact address and geolocation, helping users quickly identify the nearest and most suitable cash service point.

According to the central bank, the map is updated daily using data supplied by banks and other service providers, ensuring that the information remains accurate and up to date.

Regular updates are particularly useful for citizens planning travel, managing daily tasks, or conducting business in parts of Croatia where access to banking services is more limited.

HNB says the initiative is aimed at improving transparency and accessibility of cash services nationwide, offering practical support to both residents and businesses.
