Croatia has once again confirmed its strong position on the global tourism map after being ranked fifth among the world’s most popular travel destinations for 2026.

The recognition comes from the Virtuoso Luxe Travel Report for 2026, highlighted in the article Forbes Travel Guide’s Top Destinations for 2026, which showcases the places expected to attract the highest interest from international travellers in the coming year.

According to the report, Croatia stands out as a destination that successfully combines rich cultural and historical heritage with outstanding natural beauty.

Forbes Travel Guide describes the country as one that “offers it all” – from the exceptionally preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of Dubrovnik to the sun-drenched coastline and relaxed island lifestyle of Hvar.
