VIDEO: Baby Lasagna stars in “Where’s My Cat”, the new promo video for northwest Istria

Umag, 7 November 2025 – The Northwest Istria Cluster has launched its latest promotional video, Where’s My Cat. This vibrant, fast-paced and visually compelling showcase brings together seven of the region’s destinations – Umag, Novigrad, Brtonigla, Buje, Motovun, Grožnjan and Oprtalj – along with hotel companies Plava Laguna and Aminess Hotels & Resorts, to create one inspiring story.

The video highlights the exceptional diversity of Northwest Istria, from the sea and sports to gastronomy, culture and unspoilt nature.

The narrative follows a family preparing to return home from their holiday, when their daughter suddenly discovers she has lost her favourite toy cat.

Their search for the cat leads viewers on a journey through the region’s attractions – cycling trails, tennis courts, cultural landmarks, charming cobbled streets and local culinary specialities.

Adding further energy to the story is a cameo appearance by Baby Lasagna as a photographer, reflecting the youthful and contemporary character of this part of Istria.

“This new campaign was developed through close collaboration between the Tourist Boards within the Cluster. Our goal was to strengthen the destination’s identity as a place of genuine experiences for families, sports enthusiasts, food lovers, and admirers of culture and nature alike. We wanted to create a video that evokes emotion rather than simply selling postcards. Where’s My Cat shows that in Northwest Istria, every moment holds the potential for adventure,” said Milovan Popović, Director of the Umag Tourist Board.
