Ryanair will drop three routes from Croatia in its summer 2026 schedule, impacting services from Zagreb, Rijeka, and Zadar, exyuaviation.com reports.

The airline will terminate its seasonal Zagreb–Marseille route after two years of operation.

Ryanair has decided to discontinue its Vienna–Rijeka service after operating it for only one season. The route will not resume next summer, following the airline’s earlier move to cancel its Vienna–Split connection as part of a broader scaling back of operations from Vienna caused by rising costs.

Additionally, Ryanair has announced that it will cease operating its seasonal Zadar–Maastricht route. Initially scheduled to begin in 2020 but delayed by the pandemic, the service eventually started in July 2024; however, it will not be carried forward into 2026.

Furthermore, Ryanair has not yet included Zagreb–Hahn and Zagreb–Pisa flights in its upcoming schedule, casting doubt on whether those routes will make a comeback.

Although Ryanair is cancelling routes, it still intends to expand operations on other services in Zagreb, planning six additional weekly flights during the 2026 summer peak compared to 2025, despite a slight reduction in April and May.

Next year will be the final phase of Ryanair’s five-year Growth Incentive Model at Zagreb Airport, which requires the airline to increase departing passengers by at least 75,000 in 2026, offering even greater discounts if it exceeds 150,000, to encourage continued expansion in the Croatian capital.
