ZAGREB, 3 October 2025 – Croatian Post (Hrvatska pošta) has unveiled Sveračun, a new digital service for sending and archiving invoices, at its National Sorting Centre in Velika Gorica.
The service is part of Fiskalizacija 2.0 and is designed to simplify invoicing for all registered companies in Croatia.
Each of the 254,132 legal entities in the country can now access the platform via sveracun.hr, where Croatian Post is offering the first 100 invoices free of charge to every company.
Sveračun is open to all businesses, regardless of whether they are VAT-registered, and in future phases it will also be adapted for private users.
“This is the only platform that offers a clear, concrete invoicing service. Receiving invoices in a digital postbox and archiving them is completely free. It is a comprehensive service that Croatian Post is providing to the economy. Our role goes beyond delivering services – we see it as our responsibility to drive Croatia’s digital transformation,” said Ivan Čulo, CEO of Croatian Post.
One of the key benefits, according to Croatian Post, is full transparency. “Our pricing is completely transparent – no hidden conditions, no fine print, no additional recalculations. Users have a clear choice with no penalties, no contractual obligations and no monthly subscriptions. Businesses only pay for the invoices they actually send, with no extra costs,” explained Višeslav Majić, Director of Product Management.
The move into digital invoicing is a natural step for Croatian Post, which already delivers paper invoices to households across the country.
Over the past eight years, the company has invested €230 million in modern infrastructure and digitalisation. With Sveračun, it is now expanding its portfolio to offer new digital solutions for both entrepreneurs and, in the near future, private users.
