ZAGREB, 10 September 2025 – Croatia Airlines, together with the Zadar County Tourist Board, the Zadar Tourist Board and Zadar Airport, has presented its winter service connecting Munich and Zadar at an event in Munich attended by German travel agents and business media representatives.

For the second consecutive year, Zadar will be directly connected to the Bavarian capital during the winter months. Flights will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from 28 October 2025 until 6 January 2026.

Marija Pavić, Head of Sales at Croatia Airlines, highlighted the importance of the route:

“The Munich–Zadar winter service strengthens the economic and tourism potential of Zadar County, supports the successful operation of Zadar Airport, and enhances passenger mobility. Expanding our network of destinations is a strategic goal, and this line further contributes to Croatia’s transport and tourism infrastructure, positioning the country as a year-round destination,” she said.

Director of the Zadar Tourist Board, Iva Bencun, also welcomed the news:

“This connection with Munich, an important European hub, contributes to developing year-round tourism. It gives visitors the opportunity to experience Zadar in the unique atmosphere of the post-season and winter months – when the city is calmer, filled with authentic charm, rich cultural heritage, gastronomy and natural beauty. At the same time, it provides residents with better access to Bavaria and beyond.”

Hrvoje Anić, Director of the Zadar County Tourist Board, added that cooperation with Croatia Airlines would further strengthen Zadar’s position as an attractive and accessible destination throughout the year.
