Guitar legends Joe Satriani and Steve Vai to perform Šibenik on 1-2 August

ZAGREB, 28 July (Hina) – For the first time ever as the band SatchVai, guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai will perform on 1 and 2 August at the open-air stage of St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik. and the exclusive concerts mark the finale of their major European tour celebrating nearly five decades of musical friendship.
According to the LAA agency, Satriani and Vai – both frequently ranked among the top 10 guitarists of all time – will deliver two hours of unforgettable music, blending solo and collaborative material.
SatchVai will be joined on stage by Kenny Aronoff on drums, Marco Mendoza on bass, and Pete Thorn on guitar.
Their setlist so far includes fan favourites and guitar masterpieces such as: “I Wanna Play My Guitar”, “The Sea of Emotion, Pt. 1”, “Zeus in Chains”, “Little Pretty”, “Ice 9 / The Crying Machine”, “Flying in a Blue Dream”, “Surfing With the Alien”, “Sahara”, “Tender Surrender”, “Teeth of the Hydra”, “Satch Boogie”, “If I Could Fly”, “For the Love of God”, “Always With Me, Always With You”, and “Crowd Chant”.
Over his 30+ year career, Joe Satriani has performed across the globe, played sold-out arenas, and launched the acclaimed G3 project, often joined by Vai, as well as the supergroup Chickenfoot.

Known for his technical precision and genre-defying style, Satriani has sold over 10 million live recordings, earned 15 Grammy nominations, and boasts several platinum-selling albums – making him one of the most successful instrumental rock guitarists of all time.
Steve Vai, ranked among the top 10 guitarists by Guitar World and a member of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, has sold over 15 million records in a career spanning nearly five decades.
