Koykan breaks records – 4 new street food restaurants open across Europe

Croatian street food brand Koykan has kicked off the summer on a high note, opening four new restaurants in just a few short weeks across three European countries – the Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovakia.

This marks a significant milestone in the company’s long-term growth plan, which aims to have over 25 locations across Europe by the end of 2027.

The expansion began in late May, when Koykan opened its first international branch in the Czech capital Prague, at the lively and popular Maj House of Fun.

Just a few weeks later, two more restaurants were opened in Croatia – one in Zadar (Supernova shopping centre) and another in Split (City Centre One). Shortly after, another location was launched in Bratislava, Slovakia, inside the busy Eurovea shopping centre.

Early results from all four new restaurants are very encouraging. Koykan has reported a steady and strong flow of visitors from day one, showing that its modern street food concept is hitting the mark with European customers.

The expansion is being supported by a well-structured financial model, which includes the issuance of corporate bonds offering an 8 percent annual return.
