5 New Airlines & 10 New Routes for Zadar Airport this Summer

Zadar Airport’s summer timetable has come into effect on Sunday 25 March 2018.

This summer Zadar Airport will welcome five new air companies and 10 new connections. The new airlines who will fly to Zadar this season are – Aegean Airlines (Athens), Norwegian Air (Oslo), Germania (Zurich), Brussels Airlines (Brussels) and Condor (Frankfurt).

Ryanair will introduce new connections this summer from Zadar to Frankfurt, Memmingen and Bremen, whilst Lufthansa will connect the Dalmatian city for the first time with Frankfurt. Commencing on 28 April 2018, Lufthansa will operate flights between the two cities twice weekly.

Lufthansa to launch new route to Zadar this summer

The tenth new destination will be easyJet’s new route to Berlin. Flights will launch between Zadar and Berlin on 27 July 2018 twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Ryanair will be the busiest carrier from Zadar with 14 routes to Zadar from all parts of Europe.

Eurowings this year will fly to 7 destinations from Zagreb, easyJet will fly to 3 whilst Croatia Airlines offers three daily flights to Zagreb and Pula and an international flight to Frankfurt.

“After last year’s record with 589,000 passengers, this year we expect an increase in traffic of 5-7%,” Zadar Airport said in a statement.
