15,000 ‘Fake’ Nike Shoes Arrive in Croatia

nike_instagramCroatian customs officials at the port of Rijeka have discovered an incoming container containing more than 15,000 pairs of fake Nike shoes, reports daily Novi list.

Sources say that the container, which had made its way to Croatia from China, contained the ‘fakes’ which have a street value of around 1 million EUR. On the official declaration it was declared that the container had toys inside, but officials found the fake Nike shoes hidden inside. The daily reports that most ‘fakes’ coming into Croatia make there way to Serbia with some remaining in Croatia. Serbia is considered the largest market in the region for fake goods currently.
