10 Croatian restaurants awarded the Bib Gourmand distinction

1 March 2020 – On Friday, two more restaurants in Croatia were awarded a Michelin star, bringing the total number now to seven.

LD Terrace in Korčula and Boškinac in Novalja on the island of Pag joined Noel in Zagreb, Draga di Lovrana in Lovran, Pelegrini in Šibenik, Monte in Rovinj and Restaurant 360° in Dubrovnik as the only Michelin starred restaurants in Croatia.

Michelin also released on Fridaty their recommendations by their guide inspectors and 10 restaurants in Croatia which were awarded the Bib Gourmand distinction.

10 restaurants in Croatia awarded Michelin’s Bib Gourmand distinction:

1. Agava (Zagreb) 

Located on the popular Tkalčićeva Street in downtown Zagreb, Agava offers Croatian favourites as well as a selection of international dishes. 

2. Tač (Zagreb)

Tač is situated out of the centre in a residential suburb and focuses on Mediterranean-influenced dishes, many which come from Istria where the female owner arrives from. 

3. Vuglec Breg (Krapina)

A must-visit restaurant in the Hrvatsko Zagorje region with stunning views and local, traditional cuisine.

4. Batelina (Banjole)

Consistently one of the top restaurants in Croatia renowned for its seafood, they offer affordable-priced dishes and a range of quality starters.

5. Konoba Vinko (Konjevrate)

Again, another traditional restaurant with a friendly and rustic feel where you can enjoy the tastes of the area.

6. Konoba Fetivi (Split)

The family-run konoba serves meat and fish dishes as well as old family recipes. It is also popular among famous guests to Split.

7. Konoba Škoj (Šolta)

Worth taking the ferry to the island of Šolta to visit this restaurant. Amazing views from the terrace and food to match.

8. Konoba Mate (Korčula)

Situated in Pupnat on the island of Korčula, Konoba Mate will not disappoint. The family-run konoba has a varied menu which includes local specialties.

9. Zlatne Gorice (Varaždin Breg)

Situated on the rolling hills in the middle of vineyards, Zlatne Gorice has a fantastic atmosphere.

10. Dunav (Ilok)

Another family-run restaurant which offers dishes with ingredients from the local area of Slavonian.
