Women Collects Dead Sister’s Pension For 2 Years

Police from the Dalmatian City of Split have pressed charges against a 62-year-old women they have accused of collecting her dead sister’s pension for a two year period.
The charges relate to a period from March 2007 to April 2009, when the women, from the Makarska Riviera town of Baska Voda, fraudulently collected the pension of her deceased sister.
The women managed to withdraw around 50,000 (close to 7,000 euros) kuna cash in that period. She has been remanded on bail.
