A revolutionary idea announced today by famous Croatian football club Hajduk Split. The club will dedicate one of its away shirts next season to its loyal fans…

The official Hajduk Split second alternative shirt will be dedicated to the fans and feature the names of club members on it. The names of a limited number of members, to be decided by the supporter’s club Naš Hajduk, will be integrated into the design of the new shirt for the 2017/18 season.

Ivan Kos, President of the Board of Hajduk, spoke live today on the club’s official Facebook page.

“Since 2011 and the formation of Naš Hajduk, we have been experiencing growth in membership numbers. In 2016 we set a new record in the history of the club as we have reached and surpassed 42,000 members, which makes Hajduk a convincing champion in relation to all sports clubs in Croatia. I want to thank once again to Torcida, Naš Hajduk and Hajduk Friends’ Societies for their engagement on a voluntary basis, which has led to these results”, Kos said.
