Food&Wine Name Dubrovnik Among Most Romantic Places On Earth

Croatia has received yet another great advertisement in the massive tourist market of America. Popular American magazine Food&Wine, which has over 6 million readers and over 14 million online visits a month, has named Dubrovnik on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast in its Top 20 Most Romantic Cities in the World list in its latest edition.
Dubrovnik’s unique beauty and romantic ambience guaranteed its place on the list along with cities such as Paris, Rome, New York, Istanbul and Prague.
“With its medieval lanes, cathedrals and seaside perch, it’s easy to see why Lord Byron called Dubrovnik “the pearl of the Adriatic.” Get lost on the smooth cobbled streets of the Old Town, or sip espresso at one of the cafés on the Placa, the city’s pedestrian thoroughfare,” wrote Food&Wine.
