Croat Football Coach Sacked After Stealing Players Credit Card To Buy 36 Bottles Of Jägermeister

A Croatian first division football coach has been sacked by his club after being caught stealing a players credit card and a racking up a 3,956.04 kuna bill, which including the purchase of 36 bottles of Jägermeister.

Josip Gaspar (40), who represented Dinamo Zagreb 425 times, was sacked from NK Precko after stealing a credit card from the wallet of one his players in the changing rooms. He proceeded to go shopping and purchased 3 dozen 1 litre bottles of Jägermeister. When Gaspar tried to pay the outstanding amount on the card it raised alarms as the card had gone over the limit. Gaspar was caught after CCTV footage was used to check who made the purchases, reports Jutarnji list.
