Zrinka Cvitešić Wins More Awards as Broadway Beckons

zrinka-cvitesicThe awards just keep coming for Croatian actress Zrinka Cvitešić. The London-based 34-year-old has just received further recognition for her work, this time in the form of a Broadway World UK Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical…

Cvitešić, who already won the ‘Best Debut Performance on London’s West End’ award, made her West End debut earlier this year in the lead role in the West End production of the Broadway hit Musical based on the Oscar-winning film Once, which tells the tale of an Irish busker and a young Czech mother who meet through a shared love of music. The BWW:UK Awards are chosen entirely by readers – first through a nomination process, resulting in a shortlist which is then opened up for voting.
