Zlatko Dalić calls up Luka Sučić and Antonio Čolak for final World Cup qualifiers

Croatia coach Zlatko Dalić: ‘I made mistakes, I will talk to Luka'

ZAGREB, 4 November 2021 – Croatia coach Zlatko Dalić has called up Antonio Čolak and Luka Sučić for the final two World Cup qualifiers this month. 

Ahead of the gathering of the national team on Monday, November 8th in Zagreb, Dalić has called up Malmö striker Antonio Čolak and Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Luka Sučić, who made his debut for Vatreni last month against Slovakia.

Šučić has been called into the squad due to cover for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovačić who is under an injury cloud, whilst Čolak is cover for Josip Brekalo, who is also in doubt with an injury. 

Croatia needs to win their final two qualifiers to assure direct qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. 

First up on 11 November they meet Malta away, followed by the final match against Russia at Poljud stadium in Split on 14 November.
