Zagreb’s annual September festival ‘Rujanfest’ set to get underway

ZAGREB, 6 September 2019 – Zagreb’s annual September Festival ‘Rujanfest’ will take place this year at Bundek from 13 – 22 September. 

Six concerts will open Rujanfest at Bundek next Friday with the entry fee just 35 kn. Throughout the festival, visitors will have the chance to see performances by Edo Maajka, Petar Grašo, Željko Joksimović, Maja Šuput, Dejan Matić, Coby and more.

This year’s festival will focus on a wide variety of music tastes with four different stages set up. Along with the Extra stage and stage for DJs and house music, there will be a main stage, where Željko Joksimović, Bajaga i Instruktori, Plavi Orkestar, Jole, Maja Šuput, Željko Samardžić, Petar Grašo and others will perform.

There will also be an open-air stage which will feature urban music such as Edo Maajka, Dino Jelusić, Detour, Marko Kutlić, Neki Novi Klinci (Balašević tribute band), Bang Bang, Ljetno Kino, Miki Solus, Fantom slobode (Azra tribute band), Pravila Igre and Cro trash party (I Bee – Ivana Banfić).

Gastro

The festival will feature a 2,500 m2 gastro zone offering a variety of Croatian cuisine. This year mega portions of fuži s tartufima, kotlovina, grah, buncek and zelje, pašticada and čobanac will be prepared.

There will be a luna park for the kids, and also Zagreb suburb street games and stand-up comedy. You can find out more details about the programme on the official website.
