Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices jump by over 5%

ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) – The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices on Monday made their largest gains since March 13, with the Crobex jumping by 5.06% to 1,581 points and the Crobex10 by 5.21% to 987 points.

Turnover at the close of the regular trading session reached HRK 35.75 million, which is 9 million more than on Friday. A further HRK 3.84 million was generated by a block transaction with shares of the Dukat dairy, at HRK 640 per share.

The largest turnover, of HRK 6.9 million, was made by the Valamar Riviera hotel company, with the price of its share surging by 8.33% to HRK 27.3.

The second most traded stock was the HT telecommunications company, turning over slightly more than HRK 4 million. The price of its share rose by 2.5% to HRK 164.5.

The preferred stock of the Adris tourism and insurance group turned over HRK 3.95 million, gaining 5.43% in price to end the day at HRK 388 per share.

The stock of Optima Telekom turned over HRK 3.8 million, closing at HRK 6 per share, down 1.95%.

A total of 52 stocks traded on the ZSE today, with as many as 48 of them registering share price increases, three recording decreases and one remaining stable in price.
