11393027_1014279735300912_3496155087505563100_nIvana Bišćan has had the honour of being this year’s one millionth passenger at Zagreb Airport. Bišćan, who arrived in Zagreb on board a Croatia Airlines flight from Frankfurt, arrived eight days ahead of 2014’s one millionth passenger...

“I am delighted to welcome Zagreb Airport’s millionth passenger in 2015, especially since the figure was achieved eight days ahead of last year. These results are a group effort and testament to the growing passenger numbers which have been recorded since the start of the year. During the first five months of 2015 we registered cumulative growth of 8.5% compared to the same period last year”, Isabelle Dubois, Zagreb Airport’s Chief Commercial Officer said.

Zagreb Airport, which has seen excellent growth over the past 3 years as Zagreb becomes a population destination among travellers, had an excellent May and start to the summer season. The airport saw 235,133 passengers in May, 8% more than the same period last year. So far in June 88,948 passengers have passed through the airport.

Croatia Airlines presented Bišćan with two return tickets to a destination within its network and she also received a gift voucher from Zagreb Airport.
