ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) – Zagreb’s Franjo Tudjman Airport said on Sunday that flights resumed at 10.30 am and were operating according to schedule following a strong earthquake that struck the capital and surrounding areas earlier in the morning.

Spokeswoman for the national carrier Lidija Capkovic Marinek said that the airport had not suffered any damage and that flights were going according to schedule.

“We have 16 departures and 17 arrivals scheduled for this Sunday, including flights by Croatia Airline and other airlines,” Capkovic Martinek told Hina, referring passengers to Croatia Airlines’ website for more information.

She said that the passenger terminal had been evacuated after the earthquake struck at 6.24 am.
