ZAGREB, Oct 16 (Hina) – Zagreb’s Dr. Franjo Tudjman airport has passed accreditation for compliance with health safety measures in the COVID pandemic circumstances, proving that it is safe for travel and was awarded the Airport Health Accreditation for the next 12 months, the airport management said on Friday.

Noting that it is one of the first airports in Europe to pass the certification, the management of MZLZ airport underlined that the programme was developed by the ACI – World Airports Council International.

The certification process tested the conditions and organisation for health safety in the airport terminal in line ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery Guidelines.

The programme was designed according to recommendations by the Aviation Recovery Task Force Recommendations and based on the best practice in the industry with the aim of reducing health risks for passengers, MZLZ said in a press release.

We are proud of this achievement in such a demanding process of checking the management of all measures of protection against Covid-19 at the Franjo Tudjman airport, said MZLZ CEO Huseyin Bahadir Bedir.
