Each day, judges will select the best adult cat, best junior, best kitten, and best neutered cat. On Saturday at 16:00, the prestigious Best in Show programme will take place, where the most beautiful cat among the nominees will be chosen.

This will be the first-ever WCF cat show in Rijeka, with a special appearance by the city’s famous feline, Miško, the Cat of Rijeka, who will also be competing.

On Saturday from 15:00, visitors can attend an informative talk on feline coat colours or meet Zoki, a triple Maine Coon champion from Rijeka.

Ticket prices:

• €5 for adults

• €3 for children

Tickets can be purchased via the Entrio system or at the venue’s box office.

The Growing Popularity of Cats

Year after year, cats are becoming increasingly popular as pets, with more people recognising them as ideal companions.

However, before bringing one home, it is advisable to consult a breeder, as a cat’s temperament should match its owner’s lifestyle.

Want to find out which cat breed suits you best? Visit the show and speak to exhibitors or representatives from Kitten Safe House, Croatia’s first cat shelter.

There will also be a competition for adopted domestic cats, giving them a chance to shine.
