World’s Best Gamers Battling it Out in Split

Around 100 of the world’s best gamers have gathered in the Croatian city of Split for the finals of the Dota Pit and Counter Pit gaming tournaments…

The Dota Pit League Season 4 and Counter Pit League Season 2 finals will conclude at Split’s 10,000-seat Spaladium Arena on Sunday. The prize pool for Counter Pit is US$80,000 and for Dota Pit exceeds $200,000.

More than 100 million viewers are expected to watch the event as it is being streamed on the net. It is first eSport event ever held in Croatia.
