29 November 2021 – After a break last year because of measures, Croatia’s most famous family Christmas story has opened once again to the public.

For the last 20 years, the Salaj family home in Grabovnica near the central Croatian town of Čazma has been a major attraction for locals and tourists.

The Christmas lights turned on at Salajland on Friday night,  turning it into a winter wonderland once again. Salajland will be open to the public until 9 January.

Children under the age of 12 who are accompanied by a parent or guardian are exempt from this rule. We are looking forward to being able to host you this year after a long break,” Salajland said.
