Vukovar Festival Presenting Best of Croatian Cultural Heritage

The first SVI zaJEDNO HRVATSKO NAJ!, festival of non-material cultural heritage, tourist manifestations, attractions and destinations will be held in Vukovar from 3 to 6 May. 

During the four-day festival that begins on the Day of the City of Vukovar and takes place in several city locations, the visitors will be able to experience the best of Croatian non-material cultural heritage and authentic Croatian tourist manifestations and attractions. 

The festival is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, in partnership with the City of Vukovar.

“Throughout the festival, visitors will be able to experience the whole of Croatia, its tourist manifestations and customs, and the taste of the best in wine and gastronomic offer”, emphasizes author and producer of the project Aleksandar Kovačević, adding that it is a unique festival held during the European Year of Cultural Heritage, dedicated to presenting the protected Croatian non-material cultural heritage which is on the national and UNESCO list, with the most attractive tourist manifestations, attractions and destinations from all over Croatia.

Sinjska Alka – SVI zaJEDNO HRVATSKO NAJ

“The Festival Program will take place on two stages, with its main location on the Trg Republike Hrvatske and the other on the Vukovar korzo. Children of the town of Vukovar and the children’s choir Vukovarski Golubići will open the festival on May 3, starting at 10 am. 

As part of the Festival, the “Kupujmo Hrvatsko” (“Buy Croatian”) initiative by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce will take place, with more than a hundred Croatian exhibitors participating, “said Silvije Šimac, executive producer of the Festival in front of the Organizer Without Borders Agency.

Paska Cipka – SVI zaJEDNO HRVATSKO NAJ

Visitors will be able to enjoy the presentations of tourist events among which the organisers highlight Sinjska Alka, Kaj su jeli naši stari from Vrbovec, Picokijada from Đurđevac, Đakovački vezovi from Đakovo, Šokolijada from Nin, Samobor fašnik, Zvonimirovi dani from Knin, Bučijada from Ivanić Grad and many others. 

The rich musical programme includes concerts of Klapa Intrade, Neno Belan, best Croatian drummers and Psihomodo Pop.
